GENERAL MEASURES

  • ~10% of patients will have disease regression without treatment.

  • Intralesional steroid injection (triamcinolone) has been shown to reduce the need for surgery.

FOLLOW-UP RECOMMENDATIONS

  • No activity restrictions

  • Physical therapy after surgery: started 3 to 5 days after surgery (passive and active exercises, posterior dynamic extension splints)
